Organizational Structure
Center Point is a private, not-for-profit corporation that provides comprehensive services to individuals and families. Founded in 1971, Center Point offers rehabilitation and a spectrum of health and social services at multiple sites across the states of California, Oklahoma and Texas.
Center Point programs are licensed and/or certified by California, Texas or Oklahoma State regulating agencies. Center Point does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, physical handicap, medical condition, age, marital status, ancestry, lifestyle, political affiliation or ability to pay. Center Point is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of individuals from the civic, business, legal, financial, and educational sectors of the Bay .
The Board of Directors meets with senior management to establish annual goals and objectives and to review major organizational, programmatic, and fiscal milestones.
There is a strong volunteer component originating from a number of sources: former clients, family members, concerned citizens, students, and members of the community.
Community Advisory Boards at key locations in the Bay Area and Oklahoma provide advocacy, build linkages with community leaders, assist in fund raising, connect with grassroots efforts, and provide public relations within the communities served.
