About Us
Center Point is a private, not-for-profit Corporation that provides comprehensive services to individuals and families. Founded in 1971, Center Point offers a spectrum of rehabilitation, health and social services in multiple California, Oklahoma and Texas.
Whether they may be a veteran returning from the battlefield, a homeless woman with children, an ex-offender who needs employment, or an individual with a substance abuse problem, Center Point’s holistic services facilitate the process to claim self worth and dignity by helping individuals to start anew and build healthy and productive lives. Equipped with new skills for living and working, and assisted with employment and housing, Center Point program graduates return to their communities ready to assume responsibility for themselves and others.
Center Point’s holistic services approach addresses the gamut of physical, mental, emotional and social issues which confront our communities. Services and programs include, life-skills training, health, treatment for addictive disorders and mental illness, vocational training, job readiness and job placement, individual and group counseling, parenting classes and childcare, case management, transitional housing and permanent housing placement. This philosophy of treating the whole person, and not just single presenting problems, Center Point provides the foundation for change, assisting participants to become pro-social and responsible members of the community.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide comprehensive social, educational, vocational, medical, psychological, housing, and rehabilitation services to combat social problems such as substance abuse, poverty, unemployment, and homelessness.
Center Point offers rehabilitation and treatment services that interrupt the abusive cycles of psychological, social, and economic dislocation by providing critical training and support so that individuals and families can claim self-worth and dignity.
